Call for Participation: Erasmus+ Staff Training Opportunity – 2nd International Week for Libraries (Greece) We are pleased to announce a funded staff training opportunity under the Erasmus+ Programme for participation in the 2nd International Week for Libraries, organized by the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU), Heraklion, Greece. �� Dates: September 21–25, 2026 �� Location: Heraklion, Crete, Greece This international event brings together professionals to exchange knowledge and experiences on key topics in modern librarianship, including: Open Science and Open Access Library Services for Persons with Disabilities Library Consortiums Information Literacy Empowerment of Local Communities The program includes presentations, professional discussions, library visits, and cultural activities. �� Funding: One (1) staff member will be selected to benefit from Erasmus+ mobility funding (KA171). �� Eligibility: This opportunity is open to university staff with relevant experience or interest in library sciences, information management, or related fields. �� Application Process: Interested candidates are invited to apply via the following link: https://forms.gle/QAWB7KUw57H1aajt9 Deadline: May, 12th, 2026 We encourage all eligible staff to apply and take advantage of this valuable international experience.
