Call for Participation: Erasmus+ Staff Training Opportunity – 2nd International Week for
Libraries (Greece)
We are pleased to announce a funded staff training opportunity under the Erasmus+ Programme
for participation in the 2nd International Week for Libraries, organized by the Hellenic
Mediterranean University (HMU), Heraklion, Greece.
�� Dates: September 21–25, 2026
�� Location: Heraklion, Crete, Greece
This international event brings together professionals to exchange knowledge and experiences on
key topics in modern librarianship, including:
 Open Science and Open Access
 Library Services for Persons with Disabilities
 Library Consortiums
 Information Literacy
 Empowerment of Local Communities
The program includes presentations, professional discussions, library visits, and cultural
activities.
�� Funding:
One (1) staff member will be selected to benefit from Erasmus+ mobility funding (KA171).
�� Eligibility:
This opportunity is open to university staff with relevant experience or interest in library
sciences, information management, or related fields.

Under the current Erasmus+ KA171 project, TalTech can host up to 3 Master or PhD students from the University of El Oued for either a study semester or, subject to a
