                                                                                             CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – STUDENT MOBILITY 2027/2028                                                                                   

The University of El Oued, in partnership with Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) in Crete, Greece, announces two (2) Erasmus+ KA171 International Credit Mobility opportunities for the 2027/2028 academic year. Applications are invited for student mobility for traineeship.

Mobility Details

• Host Institution: Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU), Crete, Greece
• Available positions: Two (2) student mobility positions (at least 2^sd Year PhD students)
• Target applicants: Students enrolled at the University of El Oued, subject to should be eligible and coincide with the courses provided at HMU
• Mobility type: Erasmus+ KA171 International Credit Mobility for studies or traineeship
• Academic year: 2027/2028; exact mobility dates to be agreed with HMU
• Indicative duration: Five (5) months

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be officially enrolled as a PhD student at the University of El Oued and remain eligible during the mobility period.
• Choose a traineeship opportunity compatible with their academic cycle, programme, and HMU host unit. (Invitation letter)
• Meet any academic and language requirements confirmed by HMU for the chosen mobility (B2 in English Language).
• Be available for the full mobility period and complete the required nomination, visa, and procedures.

Required Documents

1. Copy of a valid passport.
2. Updated curriculum vitae (CV) in English.
3. Motivation letter specifying studies or traineeship and expected outcomes.
4. Certificate of enrolment indicating the study cycle and department.
5. Academic transcripts / relevant academic records.
6. Language proficiency evidence.
7. Proposed traineeship plan; HMU acceptance evidence (Invitation letter).

Financial Support

Erasmus+ KA171 financial support is expected to include:

• Monthly grant: €850 per month.
• Travel contribution: Calculated under the applicable Erasmus+ distance-band rules.

Final grant amounts, duration, and conditions are subject to HMU confirmation, programme rules, and the individual grant agreement.
