Dr. Hassan Zalasi crowned with the Maurice Audin International Prize in Mathematics

Distinction and pride for the University of El Oued and our beloved Algeria, Dr. Zelassi Hassan, Head of the Mathematics Department at the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhdar-El Oued, has been awarded the Maurice Audin Prize, one of the largest prizes in mathematics in the world, granted by the French Academy of Sciences every two years to two researchers, one Algerian and the other French, in recognition of their distinguished research activity. Dr. Hassan is a product of the training of the University of El Oued, one of its young professors and the youngest head of department there. Last season, he also won the Chair of Excellence in Analysis from the French University of Nice.
