Wadi University is ready to receive its students and start classes
Today, Thursday, September 21, 2023, the Director of the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar, Professor Omar Farhati, supervised a meeting to put the final touches on receiving students and starting classes for the 2023/2024 academic year in the meeting hall of the central administration. The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rectors of the University for Pedagogy, Professor Bashir Manai, for Scientific Research, Professor Boubaker Mansour, for Foreign Affairs, Professor Qaddah Al-Habib, for Development and Foresight, Professor Ammar Zaabi, the Deans of the Faculties, the Secretary-General of the University, the Director of the Medical Annex, Professor Samir Darwish, the Head of the University Admission Follow-up Committee, Dr. Tariq Sammari, and the Vice-Deans in charge of Studies.
The University President opened the meeting by presenting a presentation of the agenda on the progress of the pre-session process for the 2023/2024 academic year and receiving students, then giving the floor to the Vice President for Pedagogy, who gave a comprehensive presentation on student registrations, which were 100/100 complete, the completed transfer operations, and the issuance of the technical card for units and transactions for each specialization for all colleges, indicating that all student lists are registered in the Progress system and all pedagogical operations are completed, stressing the university's readiness to receive its students and carry out their lessons.
The deans of the faculties gave detailed presentations on the readiness of each faculty and their full preparation for the 2023/2024 university entrance, stressing the control of all technical and pedagogical operations from student registrations and transfers, professors' timetable, delegation lists, and classrooms. The university president stressed the need to respect the programmed schedule for professors and provide special conditions to receive our students, and stressed the need for direct follow-up and guidance for all the aforementioned details that concern all first-year students in particular.
The Director of the Medical Annex presented all the details related to the annex, including teaching materials, professors, their schedule, equipment, and all the available capabilities and the annex’s readiness for the start of the academic season. At the suggestion of the University Director, a special opening ceremony will be held in honor of the medical students on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
The official of the University Admissions Follow-up Committee also confirmed the smooth running of the process and all preparations in its various fields, indicating the readiness of all colleges to receive students and start classes on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
The Vice President for Scientific Research took the floor, giving a presentation on the doctorate, the international doctoral conference, and the scientific and logistical preparation process.
After discussions and various presentations that covered all the details, the university director stressed the importance of providing quality training and that all conditions are available, and the readiness of the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar, as we have become accustomed to, to receive its students and start their lessons with distinction and success.
