Meeting of the Board of Directors of the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar El Oued
Today, April 21, 2024, in the meeting room of the central administration, the Board of Directors of the University of Chahid Hama Lakhdar was held under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, representative of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Hlailat Mohamed Al-Taher, Director of the University of Ouargla, and the Director of the University of the Oued, Professor Omar Farhati, in the presence of his deputies, members of the Board of Directors, deans of colleges, and executive directors. The meeting agenda revolved around the following:
– Studying the draft adjustment budget for the year 2024.
- Determine the amount of the cash share to be used to establish each subsidiary institution.
- Approval of the state council of the state of El Oued to purchase equipment for the medical annex.
– Approval of the establishment of a subsidiary project.
- Miscellaneous.
The meeting was opened by the Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Shawqi Mudallal, who welcomed the members of the Council, presenting the Council’s agenda. The floor was then given to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Hulailat Muhammad Al-Taher, via the remote lecture technology, who apologized for not attending for health reasons, and who in turn expressed his The importance of meeting and studying all the changes and amendments brought by the Secretary-General of the Ministry, and through it, the Secretary-General of the University made a presentation to study the draft adjustment budget for the year 2024.
The representative of the University’s Vice Chancellor for External Relations, Dr. Al-Amamra Mohamed Youssef, also gave a presentation on the number of the university’s subsidiary institutions that are supported in cash shares and the amount allocated to them, which are represented in two institutions, the first of which is the “Desert Arboretum Foundation” and the “Consultation, Research and Development Office Foundation.” For his part, the Director of the Medical Annex presented Professor Darwish Samir, at the request of the Rector of the University, Professor Omar Farhati, to consider the file for upgrading the medical annex to a college, presented some statistics about the annex. The Vice Rector in charge of Development and Foresight, Professor Ammar Al-Zoubi, also submitted a request for approval of financial assistance provided by the state to purchase equipment for the annex. Medicine, while the Secretary-General touched on the establishment of a sub-institution project called the Center for Specialized Studies in Engineering and its purpose.
