Awareness media days about national service for the benefit of students of the University of El Oued
Today, February 12, 2024, the Mediatech Lecture Hall at the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhdar, in coordination with the Regional Center for National Service in El Oued, hosted media awareness days on national service for the benefit of university students, vocational training trainees, and high school students.
In the presence of the university director, Professor Omar Farhati, his deputy for pedagogy, Professor Bashir Manai, the deans of the faculties, the commander of the regional center for national service in El Oued, the representative of the National Service Center in Ouargla, the head of media and communication in the military sector in El Oued, the executives of the National Service Center, the university executives and the students.
The University Director opened the meeting, expressing his happiness at the university hosting the media awareness days for the benefit of the university students, thanking the military institution and its role in strengthening the values of belonging, consolidating the values of patriotism and preserving our Algeria, the legacy of the martyrs. The University Director, Professor Omar Farhati, mentioned the role of the National People's Army, the descendant of the Liberation Army, in consolidating security and stability and defending Algeria's sovereignty and glory, motivating our students to stand hand in hand with our state's institutions and serve Algeria and the message of the martyrs.
The Commander of the Regional Center for National Service in El Oued gave an introductory lecture on national service, a historical overview of it, its objectives and benefits, in addition to providing detailed explanations and clarifications to the students. The activity also included distributing a scientific questionnaire to the students about national service.
To open the door for discussion and dialogue for the attendees to ask their various questions and inquiries.
At the end of the symposium, certificates of honor were distributed by the university director to the symposium’s media supervisors and the regional center for national service.
