For PhD Students

The University of El Oued is pleased to announce the Erasmus+ KA1 2025-2026 mobility opportunities for its PhD students to visit the University of Córdoba (UCO), Spain. This program supports academic exchange under the Erasmus+ KA1 framework, with funding available for selected applicants.

Mobility Details:

• Student Mobility for Studies (SMS):1Student (at least 2^nd year PhD)
• Duration: 5 months

• Nomination Period:November 1^st– November20^th
• Mobility Period: Second semester
• Subject Areas (ISCED):
  • 0110: Education science
  • 0511: Biology
  • 0531: Chemistry
  • 0521: Environmental Sciences
  • 0610: Information & Communication Technologies
  • 0810: Agriculture (general)
  • 0821: Forestry

Financial Support:

Eligible participants will receive financial support, which includes travel and subsistence contributions.

Documents for Application:

• Curriculum Vitae
• Transcript of Records (English, stamped by the Dean’s Office)
• Declared Courses for Current Semester (English, stamped by the Dean's Office)
• English certificate (minimum B2 for courses in English, B2 for courses in Spanish)
• Copy of Passport/ID (valid for the entire mobility period)
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Motivation letter + detailed Research proposal
• List of publications
• Inscription Certificate
• Letter of endorsement by academic staff
• Passport-sized photograph
• Recommended: Acceptance letter signed by one of the Professors of the University of Córdoba who will act as the student’s supervisor during his mobility.

After the pre-nomination, the students are required to send the following documents in the 2^nd Step:

• Learning Agreement (signed by the Sending University)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Participants must be enrolled in at least the 2^nd year PhD program at the University of El Oued.
• Nominated students will receive support based on the selection criteria set by the University of El Oued.
• Subjects’ areas:All Fields.

Nomination and Application Process:

1. Nomination by the University of El Oued:
   • The university will select and nominate students via the Mobility Online platform.
   • Minutes of selection must be provided (detailing the selection process, deadlines, committee members, and full ranking list of candidates).
2. Eligibility Check by University of Córdoba:
   • The International Projects and Mobility Office will verify eligibility and ranking.

Academic Calendar:

• Second Semester, you have to check the University of Córdoba official site for more details.

Accommodation & Support Services:

• Selected students will receive support in regarding accommodation and services.
• Orientation and Welcome Dayswill be conducted.
• Non-EU students must have a health insurance policy valid in Spain.

Conditions after the mobility

As a result of the mobility, PhD Students are required to publish at least one joint research paper or an indexed conference paper in collaboration between the two universities.
