On the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary celebrations of Independence and Youth Day, the Director of the University of El Oued supervises the launch of the university’s new website 

Ashraf today 2022.07.04 Mr. Director of the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar, on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of Independence Day and Youth Day, at the celebration of the ceremony announcing the launch of the university’s new website, honoring some activists and innovators, and distributing some housing units. 
The celebration, organized by the Sub-Directorate of Cultural, Scientific and Sports Activities, took place in the Abu Al-Qasim Saad Allah Grand Lecture Hall, in the presence of the Vice-Directors, Deans of Faculties and their Deputies, the Secretary-General of the University, a group of administrative and pedagogical staff, and representatives of trade union and student organizations.
Giving the official launch signal for the new university website, the university director, Professor Omar Farhati, stressed in his speech on the occasion that the launch of the new university website came in response to technological and digital developments and the need to accommodate the various pedagogical and scientific activities that are increasing day after day at the university. The director praised the great efforts made by the university family in all its categories, including pedagogical, administrative and media staff, financial departments, employees, workers, student and trade union organizations, recalling the scientific achievements made by the university on more than one local, national and international level, the registration of 28 patents and the university reaching 18th place in the national classification of universities, awaiting the qualitative leap that the next academic year will witness, with new structures and equipment that serve the university family.
The programme of the celebration included a presentation on the big screen by the head of the Systems and Networks Centre, Samir Kadiri, about the university’s new website, where he gave a comprehensive illustrative picture of the website’s corners, icons, windows of the faculties and laboratories, and the new things added. He also informed the faculties and laboratories’ officials that they could write articles about their activities directly without going through the Systems and Networks Centre.
On this occasion, the winner of the award for the best audio-visual report on the revolution was honored on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of Independence Day and Youth Day, which was won by Ben Hamda Al-Eid for a report on the life of the martyred hero, martyr Hama Lakhdar, commander of the Battle of Hood Chika, whose name the university bears, in addition to honoring activists at the closing ceremony of the university season that was organized on 2022.06.30 In the same hall, the two presenters were Ahmed Qaddah and Hamza Hanana, the photographer, in addition to the director receiving a painting with his picture from a student studying at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences. On this occasion, housing benefit decisions were distributed to some professors, noting that these residences were vacant due to the resignation of their occupants or their transfer to other university institutions outside the state.
