El Oued University participates in the activities of the doctoral days at the National School of Engineers in Gabes, Tunisia

Within the framework of international cooperation between the Algerian-Tunisian universities 5+5 and with the recommendations of the Director of the University of Shahid Hama Lakhdar, Professor Omar Farhati, today, May 7, 2024, the University of the Oued participated in the activities of the Doctoral Days organized over two days by the National School of Engineers in Gabès, sisterly Tunisia.
The University of the Valley was represented by a delegation from the three technical colleges of Technology, Exact Sciences and Natural and Life Sciences. The delegation consisted of six professors and eight doctoral students under the chairmanship of Dr. Mohamed Al-Tayeb and Wasif Khaled, Director of the Research Unit in Renewable Energies.
The university's student researchers presented summaries of their research work and the professors participated in discussing the presented works. The first day concluded with two workshops, the first on valuing research outputs and the second on the carbon footprint, where Valley University professors had interventions that influenced the content of the two workshops.
The El Oued University delegation also had very fruitful scientific meetings with the Libyan delegation from Sabratha University.

The Director of Al-Wadi University participates in the international forum of Napier-Gen Chelny University in Russia. The Director of Shahid Hama Lakhdar University, Professor Omar Farhati, participated in the international forum organized by Napier-Gen-Chelny University in Russia. The activities of the International Open Forum for Education held on May 16, 2024 in Russia witnessed international participation and thirteen Russian institutions. His work was at the State Drama Theater Iyad Zhelyazov, and the forum is considered an important scientific event initiated by the Napier-Genie Chelny State University of Education with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The Director of the University of the Valley, Professor Omar Farhati, accompanied by Dr. Mounir Melody, presented an intervention about the Algerian University’s experience in the pedagogical and research field, which was published in the Napier University magazine, Jenny Chelny, and which attracted the attention of the attendees and participants from all bodies. The Director of the University of the Valley, accompanied by the Algerian delegation, had a working session with the local authorities of the city of Chelny, in the presence of the Head of the Office of Foreign Relations and International Projects of the Center for International Cooperation at the Russian Ministry of Education, Elena Averkova, during the consultation meeting held in the Chelny Municipal Administration. They were received by the Chairman of the Executive Committee, Mr. Farid Salahov. The head of the education department, Mr. Rustam Khozin, and representatives of the city administration presented an overview of the industrial development of the city and the field of education, and the president of the Naberezhnye Chelny State University of Education, Mrs. Alvinor Glyak Perova, gave the university director and the accompanying delegation a presentation about the activities of the Open Education Center in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. During his numerous interventions, the university director expressed the depth of Algeria’s historical relations with Russia and presented a comprehensive picture of the university and the mechanisms for embodying the twinning agreement, which was evident in the inauguration of three Russian language teaching centers on the Russian side, as well as the move to establish a center for learning the Arabic language in Russia, as well as mutual benefit from experiences. Success in the pedagogical field, as well as expanding relationships to multiple areas of movement, students and teachers.
