The Rector of the University of El Oued inaugurates the Renewable Energy Research and Development Unit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

on January 24, 2023, the rector of the University of El Oued inaugurated the Research and Development Unit for Renewable Energies in the desert areas located at the university annex in Martyrs’ Quarter, El Oued.<\/p>\n

Accompanying the university rector in the inauguration process, the newly appointed director of this facility, Dr. Mohamed El Tayeb, along with the vice-rectors responsible for external relations, Professor El-Habib Qada, and for development and foresight, Dr. Lassoud Abdelhalim were with him. Also,\u00a0 the Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Professor Ali Shemsa, the Secretary-General of the University, Mr. Chaouki Medellel, the Director of the University Incubator, Professor Farhat Fouad, and a representative from the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture, Mokhtar Ben Halima were present .<\/p>\n

This new facility is considered as a qualitative addition to the University of El Oued, and features a variety of wings designed to host laboratory research activities and scientific training in the field of renewable energies in desert areas. The university rector praised the new facility and acknowledged the efforts of the ministry in establishing this scientific unit and preserving it, noting that it will soon benefit from advanced equipment to serve research and training.<\/p>\n

During the inauguration of the Renewable Energy Research and Development Center, the university rector also inspected the university business incubator.<\/p>\n
