University Rector tours the Department of Veterinary Sciences and congratulates its students<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Tuesday, September 26, 2023, the Rector of the University of El Oued, Professor Omar Ferahti, accompanied by his Vice- Rector for Studies, Professor Bachir Mena\u00ef, paid a visit to the Department of Veterinary Sciences at the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences. They were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Abdelmalek Zaatar, and vice Dean for Studies, Dr. A\u00efch Aamar El Touhami, the Head of the Department of Veterinary Sciences, Dr. Hamdi Ibrahim, the Head of the Department of Agricultural Sciences, Dr. Ismail Mehda, and vice Dean Dr. Kasmi Yassine, the Secretary General and a number of professors and staff of the Faculty.<\/p>\n

The University Rector inspected the start of the classes and gave a speech to the students of the specialization, congratulating them on joining the University of El Oued and this new specialization for the 2023\/2024 season. He stressed the importance of giving this specialization the utmost importance and providing all the necessary means for the distinguished training of students, including all the necessary pedagogical and scientific means. He gave many instructions and advice to the students on the need to work hard and actively. He also praised the efforts made by the Head of the Department, Dr. Hamdi Ibrahim, to give a very distinguished image of the specialization.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, the University Rector toured the exhibition organized on the occasion, where the Head of the Department gave him explanations on the work accomplished, which was in the form of informative posters aimed at the students of the specialization on the teaching method, the courses taught and the professional prospects of the specialization, etc. The University Rector also looked at the explanatory posters prepared for each of the courses that the students will study. He also visited a wing where some of the medicines and equipment used in the veterinary field were displayed. The Rector concluded his visit by thanking the Dean of the Faculty and the Head of the Department for their keenness and efforts.<\/p>\n
