The First Ramadan Forum on the Algerian Mushaf in the Month of the Quran at the University of El Oued<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0On April 11, 2023, the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at the University of EL Oued, the Laboratory of Contributions of Algerian Scholars to the Enrichment of Islamic Sciences, and the Quran Club organized the first Ramadan Forum on the theme “The Algerian Mushaf in the Month of the Quran” under the supervision of the University’s Rector, Professor Omar Farhati.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Rahmani Ibrahim, professors Kamal Guedda, Ali Khadra, Mokhtar Qadiry, and Boukhezana Hamza, as well as Sheikh Mohamed El Hassan Bousso, who participated via videoconference from Senegal. The organizing committee of the forum and a number of professors, researchers, and students from various disciplines were also present.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Professor Boukhezana Hamza, Director of the Laboratory, welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of this special activity during the blessed month. The President of the Ramadan Forum, Professor Ali Khadra, then gave a speech in which he spoke about the Book of Allah and the importance of serving it, and wished the forum success.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Professor Kamal Guedda then welcomed Sheikh Mohamed El Hassan Bousso from Senegal and gave a brief overview of the guest’s work, publications, and narrations. Sheikh Bousso is a member of the World Council of Sheikhs of Recitation.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Over the course of three days, the forum will organize scientific seminars, an exhibition of Algerian handwritten and printed mushafs, an exhibition of publications and works on tafsir, and cultural competitions on the Quran and its sciences.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The Ramadan event aims to highlight the efforts of the Algerian state in serving the Holy Quran and to promote the various editions of the mushaf printed in Algeria.<\/p>\n
