data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:169\">The Algerian Customs and the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of El Oued organized a seminar on the theme &#8220;The Role of Customs in Economic Recovery&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:66\">This event, held on 07\/02\/2023, brought together:<\/p>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"9:1-12:0\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:23\">Customs officials<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"10:1-10:18\">Academicians<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"11:1-12:0\">Economic operators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"13:1-13:27\">The seminar aimed to:<\/p>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"15:1-18:0\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"15:1-15:76\">Discuss the strategic role of customs in stimulating economic recovery<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"16:1-16:72\">Analyze the challenges and opportunities facing the customs sector<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"17:1-18:0\">Propose recommendations for enhancing the contribution of customs to economic development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"19:1-19:81\">During the seminar, several presentations were delivered on topics such as:<\/p>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"21:1-24:0\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"21:1-21:62\">The role of customs in facilitating trade and investment<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"22:1-22:74\">The contribution of customs to the fight against fraud and smuggling<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"23:1-24:0\">The modernization of customs procedures and the use of new technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"25:1-25:147\">The participants actively engaged in discussions and exchanged valuable insights on the crucial role of customs in promoting economic recovery.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"27:1-27:220\">The seminar concluded with the adoption of a set of recommendations aimed at strengthening the partnership between customs and the university in order to enhance the contribution of customs to economic development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
