This ensures that the University\u2019s research solutions and administrative strategies are globally relevant and highly effective.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\"><strong>\u00a0Securing Representation in PRIMA-2023 Projects<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On February 14th, 2024, the University of El Oued secured representation within the international PRIMA-2023 cooperation projects by obtaining acceptance for a research project entitled, <em>&#8220;New S m@rt Process Based on the Combined &#8216;Nanotechnology-Magnetic Filtration&#8217; Treatment of Brackish and Natural Water for Better Irrigation Efficiency and Agricultural Yield in the Mediterranean.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11560 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D&#39;http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg&#39;%20width=&#39;835&#39;%20height=&#39;562&#39;%20viewBox%3D&#39;0%200%20835%20562&#39;%2F%3E\" data-czlz data-src=\"https:\/\/www.univ-eloued.dz\/sdg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/01-14.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"835\" height=\"562\" \/><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This research effort, which directly addresses sustainable water management (SDG 6) and food security (SDG 2), is led by a team of professors from the Faculties of Natural and Life Sciences and Technology, under the direction of Professor Ghamam Amara Jilani. The team is part of a large research consortium spanning multiple countries including Tunisia, Egypt, France, and Spain. This successful acquisition of a highly competitive international project demonstrates that the University is deeply involved in reviewing and developing international best practices in sustainable resource science and nanotechnology solutions through high-level, cross-national collaborative research. The research team is now actively contributing to the shared results and recommendations of this valuable project.<\/span><\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9482 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D&#39;http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg&#39;%20width=&#39;542&#39;%20height=&#39;54&#39;%20viewBox%3D&#39;0%200%20542%2054&#39;%2F%3E\" data-czlz data-src=\"https:\/\/www.univ-eloued.dz\/sdg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/top.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"542\" height=\"54\" \/><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Participation in Erasmus+ International Week<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A delegation from The University of El Oued, including the Vice-Director for External Relations, Dr. Mohamed Fouad Ferhat, and a group of faculty and staff, participated in the Fourth Edition of the Erasmus+ Training Week hosted by the Slovakia University of Technology in Bratislava from April 22 to April 26, 2024.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11561 size-full\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D&#39;http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg&#39;%20width=&#39;1081&#39;%20height=&#39;542&#39;%20viewBox%3D&#39;0%200%201081%20542&#39;%2F%3E\" data-czlz data-src=\"https:\/\/www.univ-eloued.dz\/sdg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/02-9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1081\" height=\"542\" \/><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This mobility exchange centered on critical topics in higher education and research, including the use of Artificial Intelligence in university administration, and international mobility for students and academics. Furthermore, the Vice-Director held coordination meetings to prepare for a new international project focusing on the sustainable development of desert areas, directly translating international dialogue into SDG-focused initiatives. During the meetings, the delegation visited chemistry laboratories to exchange expertise and experiences in this vital field.
