Student Mobilities Erasmus+ KA171 \/\/ Riga Technical University \/\/ Algeria<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Call for applications for Erasmus+ mobility scholarships at Riga Technical University in Latvia for the academic year 2024-2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Riga Technical University in Latvia is pleased to inform you that the call for applications for the 2nd semester of the academic year 2024\/2025 (Spring semester 27.01.2025 \u2013 22.06.2025) for students wishing to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility program is open until September 30, 2024, at 12:00 PM (noon, strict deadline).<\/span><\/p>\n

:The number of scholarships available for partner universities in Algeria is as follows<\/span><\/p>\n

Students:<\/strong> 5 scholarships (1 semester)*\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Students can choose and apply only for the specialties offered by RTU. See the following link:\u00a0RTU Course List for Exchange Studies<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Incoming exchange students can choose study subjects from the following RTU units:<\/span><\/p>\n

Faculty of Civil and Mechanical Engineering *\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology *\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Faculty of Computer Science, Information Technology, and Energy *\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management *\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Institute of Architecture and Design *<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Latvian Maritime Academy of Riga Technical University *\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

:Students eligible to apply are<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2nd-year Master’s students*\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PhD candidates starting from the 2nd year*\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As the number of scholarships mentioned above is intended for all RTU partner universities, the host university will handle the final selection of candidates.<\/span><\/p>\n

Selection and Ranking Criteria for Erasmus+ Scholarships<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I- Selection and Ranking Criteria for PhD Candidates & Students<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

:Elimination Criteria:<\/strong> The following applications will be eliminated<\/span><\/p>\n

Incomplete *\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0With GPA < 6.25 (A: First 10% (*\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where one of the forms is empty *\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where candidates do not belong to the University of El Oued \u201cE.U.\u201d *\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where candidates have applied in a category that does not match their profile *\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Where candidates (Bachelor’s and Master’s) have been referred to a disciplinary committee *\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where the \u201cLearning Agreement\u201d has not been duly completed and signed by the Vice-Dean in charge of postgraduate studies *\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where the candidate has benefited from an unused mobility scholarship *\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Certificate of the host country language if available *\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Brief CV in English (maximum 2 pages) *\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Motivation letter (in English) *\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Master\u2019s<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Transcripts of the current year and\/or previous years*\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ranking certificate of the previous year*\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Certificate of good conduct*\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

:The interview*<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

– During the interview, students enrolled in Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees will be assessed on their motivation as well as their oral English<\/span><\/p>\n

– Adequacy of the studies of the host university with those of El-Oued<\/span><\/p>\n

:For students enrolled in a doctorate<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

– Existence of a host research laboratory at the host university.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Give priority to students enrolled in the second year of a doctorate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Selection process:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Nominated students will be notified by the RTU Erasmus+ coordinator to complete the RTU online application*\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Candidates will submit all necessary supporting documents on the online application platform*\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Conditionally-approved students will be notified and interviewed by RTU*\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Successful candidates will be given instructions to prepare their Learning Agreement in cooperation with the home institution\u2019s Erasmus+ coordinator*\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Learning Agreement: (duly completed and signed by the candidate as well as the Vice-Dean in charge of graduation for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and*\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
